Happy Father’s Day!
This past Sunday was Father’s Day, a day dedicated to showing appreciation for the men who helped raise us. While we would normally celebrate together with parties, barbecues and other gatherings, this year was a bit different, on account of the coronavirus pandemic. As we’re not really able to get together with our families, we had to show our love and appreciation in different ways. Instead of meeting in person, we held a family Zoom call. Instead of buying and giving real cards, we sent some pretty cringeworthy e-cards. And instead of making a delicious dinner, we signed our parents up for one of those food-subscription services because, you know, love.
As with previous years, many of our favourite YouTubers took to social media to share their love for their dads, and we’ve rounded up just a few of their tweets and Instagram posts, to help spread the love around.
Family photo
This family photo is absolutely adorbz, Emily Noel! We can’t stop saying “awwwwww”.
New father
The dogs finally got to meet Tucker. Chief is already very gentle with him and loves sniffing his head. Boomer tried to contain his excitement, key word tried lol but he still did very good. Boomer always fails to remember that he weighs 80 lbs and isn’t a lap dog😂 pic.twitter.com/mlFnyzc1ip

It was only a few days ago that Chris Tyson announced the birth of his son, Tucker! We hope he enjoyed his first Father’s Day as a new father, and we can’t wait to watch Tucker grow. Without a doubt, he’ll be as good a man as his dad is.
Side note: we’re glad the dogs accepted Tucker. We know some pets don’t like a new human coming into the fold, especially when they take up all the attention that was originally reserved for pets and walks.
Our thoughts are with everyone who’s lost their dad
To everyone who’s lost a dad, I know today is hard. I remember walking through Target just a couple days after my dad died & hearing people just say the word “dad” by the Father’s Day cards and I just started crying in the store because I didn’t have my dad to buy a card for…
— Kandee Johnson (@kandeejohnson) June 21, 2020
PART 2: and I didn’t have a dad I could say “dad” to anymore. That first Father’s Day without them feels worse than any other Father’s Day moving forward will. They are all hard, but to everyone missing their dad on the first Father’s Day without them – I’m send u extra hugs!
— Kandee Johnson (@kandeejohnson) June 21, 2020
To everyone who’s lost a dad: today, celebrate them, listen to their favorite music, tell stories of great memories about them. Their DNA is in your very blood right now! Live bigger, braver, bolder & with more fun, in their honor. #HappyFathersDay2020
— Kandee Johnson (@kandeejohnson) June 21, 2020
Our hearts go out to everyone who has lost their fathers. As Kandee Johnson said, the day was undoubtedly hard, but know that they will always be a part of you. They’re in your DNA, so celebrate them and make sure you live your best life in their honour.
So much sarcasm
I got all my sarcasm from my dad & it probably started with his common phrase to me when I was being the biggest bug… “go play in traffic”
Never really thought about what it meant as a kid, except that that’s a weird place to play. Then one day as an adult it dawned on me 😂 https://t.co/AZ0oZs3dp6
— Mykie (@GlamandGore) June 21, 2020
We relate to this hardcore, Mykie! Our childhood was filled with sarcastic remarks that would normally go right over our heads. Now that we’re older, we understand what they meant and we can’t stop LOLing!
Like father, like son
Happy Father’s Day to the man I get my height, my love for tech, my patience, and much much more from. +1 for the Dads out there! pic.twitter.com/dIhLNAXN4I
— Marques Brownlee (@MKBHD) June 21, 2020
We too thank Marques Brownlee‘s father for helping make Marques the man he is today! We don’t know what we’d do without his tech reviews, nor his videos.
Tired Dad’s Club
My first Father’s Day as part of the tired Dad’s Club! So lucky to have this little boy💙 pic.twitter.com/l0i6SfOCXq

We think Daniel Middleton has perfectly summed up the first year of fatherhood. Tired Dad’s Club, indeed!

— James Charles (@jamescharles) June 21, 2020
Not only is the caption James Charles included with this photo absolutely adorable (especially the part about his dad being his number one fan), but just look at that photo! Now we know where James gets his award-winning smile.
Throwback!
Happy Father’s Day. Look how cute my dad is! He is beyond lovely and kind and I am very lucky. (Photo 1991) ❤️ pic.twitter.com/z3mlWrtg6t

We love this throwback photo Michael Buckley shared of him, his father and his family! Circa 1991, that feels like WORLDS ago!

Was there really any doubt that Suli Breaks is still in his prime? We think not, especially when he’s a back-to-back champion!
Your honorary dad
Happy Fathers Day!
If you’ve got a shitty Dad, I’ll be yours for the day.
K here we go:
Hey you lil fucking weirdo,
I don’t understand whatever the hell it is you’re doing in life right now. But I love you, I got your back, and I’m here if you need anything.
Love,
Dad— Philip DeFranco (@PhillyD) June 21, 2020
Philip DeFranco really knows just what to say, doesn’t he? Anyone would be lucky to have him as an honorary dad.
Wow, smh
everybody claim I’m the dad of the C4 house but not one has wished me a happy Father’s Day and/or have brought me a gift smh
— jc (@jccaylen) June 21, 2020
We mean, they can’t claim you’re the dad of the C4 House and NOT get you gifts, JC Caylen. We’d say something if we were you.
Recreating photos
We love this slideshow of photos Lele Pons posted to Instagram, featuring herself and her dad. While they may not have intentionally recreated the photos from her childhood, we love to see that nothing has changed in regards to their relationship.
Like father, like daughter.
So there you have it…
How our faves showed their dads some love this Father’s Day. While we weren’t able to celebrate the day as we normally would have, we hope all the fathers out there know just how loved they are. We honestly don’t know what we’d do without them!
