A test episode of Same Brain was uploaded on 13 June.
Justine Ezarik and her sister, Jenna, have announced they’re coming together to launch their own podcast. Titled Same Brain, the podcast will see the pair talking about whatever interests them, including current events, gaming and tech releases.
Speaking in the debut episode, Justine said:Β “I’m pretty excited. We don’t know what this is going to become or if it’s ever going to be anything, or if we’re ever going to do it again.”
The podcast premiered on Justine’s YouTube channel on 13 June, with she and Jenna noting the first episode had been pre-recorded on 20 April.
According to Justine, she decided to record the podcast as an excuse to test out the Magic Keyboard for the iPad, which at the time had been newly released. She also wanted to see what it would be like to record a podcast using an iPad.
During the episode, the pair discuss the COVID-19 lockdown and what the potential “new” normal could look like, post-coronavirus. They also share their thoughts on Animal Crossing, amongst other things.
Jenna and Justine have asked viewers to share their opinions on Same Brain, as they look to gauge if the podcast should become a regular project for the two of them.
The reaction thus far has been fairly positive:
