Black Girl Gamers have announced they’ll be hosting the first ever Black Girl Gamers Online Summit, in partnership with Twitch.

The group first teased the summit on 26 May with a tweet posted to their Twitter account. As of 7 June, details have begun to be shared via a Twitter thread.
The summit will include a mix of keynote speeches and panels, and will feature appearances from a host of streamers. While the complete list of what’s set to occur has yet to be released, Black Girl Gamers have shared details on two of the panels.

Things will kick off with the Navigating the Streaming World As A Black Girl Gamer Panel, which is set to feature Jeannail Carter, Xmiramira and CupAhNoodle, with Storymodebae acting as moderator. The group will be sharing “tips and insight into the journey of developing your own personal brand and what lies at the end of the partnership rainbow”.
The other panel announced is A Taster Into The World Of Voice Acting, which will feature appearances from Natalia Hinds, Danielle McRae and Cara Ricketts, with CheyenneTheGeek set to moderate. The panel will be informing viewers on the expectations of Voice Directors and will be discussing if typecasting exists within the industry.
