She’s been inspiring our wardrobe choices for nearly a decade now, and we’re still obsessed!
Viewers of YouTube’s lifestyle and fashion genres are probably well aware of what a style icon Anna Newton is. Over the course of her YouTube career, she’s shown us many a look and inspired us with her capsule wardrobes and try-on videos – and don’t even get us started on her favourites videos! As we said, we may be just a little obsessed…
Anna has established herself as a go-to fashion vlogger on YouTube, with her look evolving with her channel. As such, we felt it was about time we shared some of our favourite looks, as presented by her. If it weren’t for her, we’d probably be looking pretty shabby, so, for that, we thank her for her tips!
Getting dolled up during lockdown

Thanks to @lilypebbles for the #FormalFriday nomination! Put on your gladrags, donate to charity and nominate your mates to do the same. I donated to the good eggs at @coppafeelpeople and @ymcadlg and nominate YOU ALL ⭐️ Mark had the shock of his life when I asked him to come and take this photo. 😂
Just because we’re stuck at home doesn’t mean we can’t get glammed up!
If, like us, you’ve spent most of the coronavirus lockdown in the same rotation of joggers and hoodies, dressing up may seem like a long forgotten dream. However, Anna reminds us that once upon a time we got dressed up with her #FormalFriday Instagram post.
If loungewear is more your style during this time of staying home and binging Netflix, then Anna’s linen set from Arket is perfect! The neutral colours are everything we’ve come to expect from Anna’s fashion sense, and it allows for her to be comfy while also looking pretty stylish!
We need to order this outfit, ASAP.
Matching is key
Matching your accessories is the easiest way to make it seem like you have your life together – even if you don’t. Anna takes it one step further by matching her nails to her phone case! The tortoiseshell print and her minimal gold jewellery has us obsessed, and we’re having to fight the urge to not copy her.
Do you think she’d mind if we stole this idea?
Working from home doesn’t mean you can’t look nice

I’d be lying if I said this was my favourite spot to work in because really it’s the spot in my office where the two sofa cushions meet so I can snuggle back like that ‘Homer Simpson walks back into a bush’ meme. ——————————————————— Shirt – @arketofficial Jeans – @shopredone Stationery – @appointedco
Anna’s #WFH uniform is everything we need right now. Her oversized shirt and blue jeans are a staple we all need in our wardrobes. Not only do you look put together and ready to take on the day’s tasks, but you feel so as well!
The full details are part of her most recent Style Edit on her blog.
Get a good pair of heels
Anna’s leopard print heels from Topshop show us that we can find the shoes of our dreams on the high street. They also tell us to take a risk and add more print designs to our everyday look. The Loewe handbag is a classic accessory that matches any outfit, and is a nice addition to this Friday outfit.
Vintage never goes out of style
This vintage jacket of Anna’s reminds us all that buying pre-loved is a choice we all should be making. Not only is it good for the environment, but these finds can often be just as good (if not better!) than those purchased new.
@WearNotNew is planet-friendly and, as Anna proves, Instagram-friendly.
So there you have it…
Just six times Anna Newton gave us some major style envy. After writing up this list, it’s no surprise she’s the fifth biggest lifestyle blogger on Bloglovin’. What other outfits has Anna rocked? Be sure to send a tweet to @TenEightyUK and let us know!
