Sleeping With Friends will premiere in 20 May.
Vanessa Hill of BrainCraft has announced she’s hosting a new YouTube Originals competition show, titled Sleeping With Friends.
The three-part series will see “YouTube creators go head to head to see who can get the best night’s sleep”. They will be judged by fellow YouTubers, who “will determine who slept best and use science to tell us why”.
Those competing on the show will be Mitchell Moffit and Gregory Brown of the Canadian science channel, AsapSCIENCE, as well as Donna Yatz of Psych IRL and Melissa Maribel.
The judging panel will consist of YouTube therapist, Kati Morton; science YouTuber, Trace Dominguez; and Dr. Ali Mattu of The Psych Show.
The contestants will be judged through the use of “advanced sleep-tracking technology and infrared cameras”, through which the judges will be able to analyse their sleep habits and offer them strategies on how to better get a good night’s rest.
