The late night talk show wrapped up its first season last week.
Lilly Singh and NBC have announced that her talk show, A Little Late With Lilly Singh, has been renewed for a second season, this following the conclusion of its 97-episode first run.
Lilly shared the news via a YouTube video she uploaded to her channel on 13 May:
Speaking with Deadline, Lilly said:
“Hosting my own late night show and interviewing guests, from Malala Yousafzai to Snoop Dogg, has been a fun ride for me. I learned so much during this first year of creating the show from scratch, and I’m excited that A Little Late will return for a second season on NBC.”
Season one of the late night talk show was produced over a three-month period, with two episodes filmed a day. Given the COVID-19 pandemic, a production date has yet to be set for season two, with NBC waiting for local authorities to deem it safe to return to the studio.
A Little Late With Lilly Singh is produced by Universal Television and Lilly’s own production studio, Unicorn Island Productions.
The show airs weeknights at 1:35am EST, and is available to watch via NBC and its mobile app, Peacock and Hulu, as well as YouTube, Twitter, Facebook and Instagram.
