Lockdown doesn’t mean vlogging has to stop!
With the current coronavirus pandemic taking over the world, our favourite daily vloggers have taken to sharing their lockdown experiences with us. In a time when many of us can find ourselves feeling alone and as if we’re stuck in our own bubble, it’s refreshing to get a peek into the lives of others during this time. While our favourite creators could have taken a break during this time, they’ve done the opposite and, for this, we have to say we’re thankful.
Let’s check in and see how they’re spending their time with our Five of the Best: Lockdown Diaries!
VLOG: Weekend FIVE In Isolation! | Fleur DeForce
Alongside her regular content, the wonderful Fleur DeForce has been sharing her lockdown diaries with us in the form of a weekly vlog.
In each vlog, we get a little insight into her Bloggers for NHS project and what it’s like being in lockdown as a family with a little one to look after. Fleur lives in the countryside, and seeing her experience gives a nice contrast to the city vlogs we love. We’re glad to see the family is holding up well during this time!
BOOKS I’M READING | Katie Snooks
The always honest and raw Katie Snooks has continued her weekly vlogs during the pandemic, and she shares her emotions and how she is feeling during this time.
A big part of her vlogs is food, which makes us incredibly happy. She shares the small food moments she has with her boyfriend, from trips to the supermarket to using up food she has in the house, so she doesn’t have to go out until she absolutely needs too. We know lockdown can be tough on relationships, but it truly is the highlight of our day when we see Katie and her boyfriend sharing wonderful funny moments together, from making up games to keep themselves entertained to going on their daily walks together.
A Day In The Life: Wardrobe Maintenance | The Anna Edit
Alongside her monthly vlog, Anna Newton has been filming this A Day In Her Life series, where she shares her new routine in lockdown and the little things she is doing to pass the time, such as wardrobe maintenance.
As a beauty and fashion connoisseur, she shares the home beauty treatments she’s been doing along with cooking recipes and book recommendations, so there is something in her videos for everyone!
FINALLY I’M TALKING ABOUT THIS.. | Dina Tokio
As the COVID-19 pandemic is taking place during the month of Ramadan, Dina Torkia is documenting the month and, in turn, documenting the lockdown.
As a mother of two, Dina shares her worries about the impact this lockdown will have on her kids as they try to socialise back into society. She already sees a difference in them when they are out on their daily mandated exercise. In this video, we see her address this and open up to her audience.
Creating Photobooks & Loft Storage | Brogan Tate
We all need a bit of sunshine in our day, especially at the moment, and Brogan Tate is one person we can count on to make us smile.
Brogan has been documenting her days here and there during the lockdown. She shares her love for Animal Crossing (something we can all relate to. We’ve been spending a lot of time fixing up our island) and ways she is staying creative, such as creating photo books to store memories in.
So there you have it…
Our Five of the Best: Lockdown Diaries! We don’t know about you, but there is something about knowing others are going through a similar or same experience as you to make us all feel like we are not alone.
