YouTubers Do Mother’s Day 2020

Happy Mother’s Day!

Across the world, many are taking time out of their busy schedules to celebrate the people who have been with us through thick and thin: mothers. We here in the UK did that a few months ago, but as we were on hiatus back in March, we thought we’d write up a Mother’s Day-themed article now! There were so many loving tweets filling our Twitter timeline this past Sunday that it would have been a shame to not spotlight a few of the ones that made our hearts warm.

Given many of us are still under lockdown due to coronavirus, Mother’s Day was celebrated a little differently than it has been in years past. In-person celebrations were replaced with Zoom and FaceTime calls. Delicious meals were replaced with invites to the best of dinners once we’re allowed to get together. Adorable and (sometimes) cringey family photos were shared online, as opposed to in-person.

Despite the restrictions, many of our faves still took the time out to share their love for their mums. Here are just a few of their shoutouts to their loving mums!

There’s nothing more special than getting to celebrate Mother’s Day as a first-time mum. We hope Ethan Klein spoiled his wife, Hila! She definitely deserves it.

Sure, they might embarrass sometimes by trying to fix our clothing and hair whilst in public, but we know our mums are only doing it because they care.

How some of our faves celebrated their mums this Mother’s Day. We know it’s a hard time for everyone, as we largely weren’t able to gather in celebration of the day, but know it’s for the greater good, and we’ll come together for a big bonanza as soon as we’re able to!
