The feature will allow users to better decide the sequencing of their videos.
TikTok has announced the launch of a new feature that would allow its users to better take control of the editing process when it comes to creating videos.
Making the announcement on 30 April, the app shared that the “Adjust Clips” feature would enable the editing capacity of videos filmed within TikTok, as before users were only able to delete and/or re-shoot certain clips after deleting previous ones individually.
Writing in a blogpost, TikTok said:
“Adjust clips allows users to take different video clips and move them around to determine the desired sequencing of the video. Adjust clips allows users to have fun with easily splicing and ordering their video clips and play around with the order to tell your unique story.”
Users will be able to re-shoot certain segments within the sequence, without having to delete other clips. They will also be able to rearrange clips under the new feature.
Those wishing to learn more about “Adjust Clips” can do so via the TikTok newsroom, while those seeking a tutorial on how to use the new feature can find one via the app’s official YouTube channel.
