The Creator Games is amongst a host of upcoming YouTube Originals content that was announced earlier this week.
Jimmy Donaldson, better known online as MrBeast, will be hosting the virtual competition on 25 April at 3pm PST. The live stream will be produced by Night Media and Fly On the Wall.
I'll be hosting a livestream with YouTube Originals where the biggest influencers will compete in a Rock, paper, Scissors tournament(cause why not haha) over the internet. Winner gets $250k to donate to charity to help with the global pandemic. Tune in April 25th 3PM PT! @YouTube

The Creator Games will see a host of YouTube’s “biggest influencers” participating in a series of at-home games in a tournament-style competition. Thus far, those announced include Jeffree Star, Tana Mongeau, David Dobrik, Casey Neistat, Brian Awadis, Justine Ezarik, Craig Thompson and Chris Ramsay.
The creators will be competing for a cash prize of $250,000, which they will be able to give to a charity of their choice that’s currently providing relief efforts for the coronavirus pandemic.
This isn’t the first time Jimmy has used his platform to raise awareness about an important cause. Toward the end of last year, he launched the #TeamTree initiative, which aimed to plant 20 million trees across the globe. The project involved numerous creators across YouTube and reached its goal on 19 December, 2019.
On Saturday I’m live-streaming a Rock, Paper, Scissors tournament on my channel (everyone is playing from home and it’s not like we have anything better to do lol). Here is the 8 of the 32 contestants.. I’ll reveal more tomorrow. This livestream will be lit :) pic.twitter.com/O8tBpEKE4g
