The latest milestone follows rumours that the TikTok creator will be starring in her on reality TV show and embarking on a US tour.
Charli D’Amelio has become the first TikTok creator to surpass 50 million followers on the app, reaching the milestone number earlier this week.
15-year-old Charli has amassed a dedicated following of viewers who consistently watch and react to her videos, which often feature her dancing and lip-syncing to popular songs.

Up until a few weeks ago, Loren Gray was the most-followed creator on the app, with 42.4 million followers, a title she’d held since March 2019. As it stands, Loren is now the second most-followed.
Charli’s success on TikTok has prompted her family to create their own accounts. Her sister, Dixie D’Amelio, has 21.1 million followers; her father, Marc D’Amelio, has 4.3 million; and her mother, Heidi D’Amelio, has 3.4 million followers.
Charli has also amassed a following on her other social media accounts on YouTube, Twitter and Instagram.
