It sure does feel good to be back!
We knew we missed writing, but we didn’t realise just how much we did. Sure, some might see what we do as work, but that’s not our view. We get excited by what we do, so it’s not a job for us. We enjoy getting to share the latest goings on in the YouTube world, whether that be the latest video trends, creator news or even something as simple as some feel-good tweets, and it feels good to be back in the swing of things, doing what we love.
Speaking of tweets, it’s that time of the week again where we scour the depths of Twitter and compile a list of the 10 best YouTuber tweets from the past seven days. If you’re looking for something to distract yourself from how mind-numbingly boring (but essential!) self-isolation is, you’ve come to the right place.
There’s no more crowded rooms
I saw you across a crowded zoom
— orla gartland 💔 (@orlagartland) April 6, 2020
There’s no more crowded rooms, given everyone is currently on self-isolation, so how do we meet new people? Zoom, of course, as Orla Gartland has pointed out in this very poignant tweet.
We’re not at that point just yet
I’m at the part of quarantine where I just drank a cold glass of plain fucking milk.
— Meghan Tonjes (@meghantonjes) April 12, 2020
We’re pleased to say we’re not yet at that point, Meghan Tonjes, and we hope we never are.
Aways thinking about food
I know I’m eating because I’m bored but when I’m “busy” all I’m thinking about is “what’s my next snack?”
— Imogen Horton 💍 (@Imogenation_) April 12, 2020
This is us on a regular basis, Imogen Horton. With so many delicious foods and treats out there, how could we not be thinking about what we’ll be eating next?!
What a smelly situation
To confirm: no, the shit is not the reason we are no longer friends 😂
— Lucy Moon 🌻 (@iamnotlucymoon) April 8, 2020
OMG, we can’t even imagine this, Lucy Moon! (Nor do we want to.) We know you say this isn’t the reason you’re no longer friends, but this would definitely be a friendship dealbreaker for us.
We miss Malcolm in the Middle
when i was at school we all had to make powerpoint presentations about who inspires us and show them to the rest of the class and i made mine on Hal from malcolm in the middle because he was so good at the dance mat
— Hannah Snow 𓆏 (@HannahSnow) April 10, 2020
We can’t blame you for having Hal as your inspiration, Hannah Snow. He was the best part of Malcolm in the Middle!
Who still posts to their friends’ walls?
Just checked the Facebook of a flatmate from college and was amazed to see the Facebook feature “post to friend’s wall” is still strongly in use in some circles
— Evan Edinger (@EvanEdinger) April 10, 2020
We honestly forgot this was a feature on Facebook… Does your old flatmate know what year it is, Evan Edinger?
Boo!
Shall we talk about the fact there was a spirit in my flat last night and I could HEAR the actual footsteps on my wooden floor 🥺😂
— Grace ☾ (@GraceFVictory) April 12, 2020
We would have been PETRIFIED, Grace Victory! Hopefully it’s a kind spirit, like Caspar the friendly ghost!
So many chairs
okay lemme clear this up, i mean i find myself online shopping for weird looking chairs that i can’t afford, it’s kinda a kink of mine now pic.twitter.com/QXOi72lhsU

To each their own, Byron Denton.
That’s not why we miss the pub…
anyone who is feeling upset about missing the pubs can paypal me £3 every time they pour a pint at home so your bank balance doesn’t suspet something’s wrong, here to help xx
— becky (@bambinobecky) April 6, 2020
We don’t think not being able to spend money is the reason behind why we’ve been missing the pub, Becky James. Nice try, though.
Some of us have ugly-shaped heads
people spontaneously shaving their heads in quarantine check your privilege some of us just have ugly egg skulls
— Daniel Howell (@danielhowell) April 11, 2020
Thank you for voicing the reason why we ourselves have not yet shaved our heads during self-isolation, Daniel Howell. We don’t think we could bare staring at our ugly egg skulls without hair every day.
So there you have it…
Our favourite YouTuber tweets from the past week! What would we do without Twitter to keep us entertained during this uncertain time? Maybe we’d have given ourselves a horrible haircut… Thankfully, we haven’t yet turned to such drastic measures.
