The Sykes & Savidge Book Club launches this month.
Simon Savidge has teamed up with broadcaster and magazine editor Melanie Sykes for a new book club.
According to Simon, he’d been looking into launching a book club for a while and thus decided to start it whilst in self-isolation.
Speaking about the book club in the description of the announcement video, Simon says:
“Over the coming months, Melanie and I will be choosing a book to have a chat with each other and all of you about.”
The book Simon and Melanie will be reading this month is Girl, Woman, Other by Bernadine Evaristo, which Simon calls his favourite book of 2019, and “follows a cast of twelve characters on their personal journeys through this country and the last hundred years”.
Those wishing to read along with the pair have until 30 April to finish the book, after which they’ll discuss it in a video uploaded to Simon’s channel.
