Cool was released on 24 January.
Sarah Close released the single via Spotify, where it appeared on the app’s Pop Right Now and Best New Pop playlists. The track is the second single off her upcoming debut mini-album, And Now, We’re Shining, following Almost, which was released in November 2019.
The release of Cool was followed by that of its official music video, which was uploaded to Sarah’s YouTube channel on 25 January. At the time of publishing, it has accumulated over 17,000 views and has been positively received by fans.
And Now, We’re Shining is set for release on 20 March and will feature seven new songs. It’s currently available for pre-order via Sarah’s official online store, and fans have the option of choosing from a variety of bundles, which feature album-specific merchandise items, including t-shirts and posters.
