There’s more to the Summer in the City 2019 Expo Hall than meet and greets!
We’ve pulled together a list of all the things you shouldn’t miss out on while you’ve got some time to kill today.
1. Take a whirl on the waltzer
As per tradition, there are some fantastic rides in the Expo Hall, but our favourite has to be the Ultimate Waltzer, because well, it’s ultimate! There’s something really exhilarating about the rotating ride.
Waltzing not your thing? Don’t worry there is also a slide and dodgems to help you let off some steam.
2. Bag yourself some killer merch
We love a good merch stand and the IRL merch stand is full of t-shirts, posters, mugs and tea towels from our favourite creators including Lucy Moon, Carrie Hope Fletcher, and Hazel Hayes.
3. Get your game on
Take the chance to show off your gaming skills in the Gaming Area, where you can game until your heart’s content!
Board games more your thing? Not to worry, Big Potato Games has your back. They’ve got all your favourites so you can take a break with your friends and get stuck into a game of 20 Second Showdown or Scrawl.
4. Make your mark on Summer in the City
We love the idea of commemorating your Summer in the City 2019 weekend in writing. The Make Your Mark stand allows you to sign your name with a bold sharpie pen and show the world you were at Summer in the City, living your best life!
5. Meet the crafters
The craft fair is full of amazing artists selling prints, pin badges, jewellery and even customised jackets! Why not say hello and grab yourself a beautiful memento from the weekend.
6. Support YouTube’s musicians
Record label We’re Not Just Cats Records can also be found in the Craft Fair. Chat to founder Jake Aspey and pick up the latest releases from the likes of Jake Edwards, Libby Tidley and more!
7. Take a snap with everyone’s favourite dragon
Who doesn’t want to grab a selfie with Toothless from How to Train Your Dragon? TenEighty HQ sure will be!
