Put on your running shoes.
We’re having war flashbacks to school days and being forced to participate in one of the most dreaded classes, P.E. For some reason, YouTubers from across the sea took part in a YouTube-like Olympics event this week. People from all corners of the internet crawled out of their hole to participate in running for the first time since they were 16.
It was all for a good cause though as the event was raising money for charity! I think I’ll just donate without having to do the moving thing…
On with the round-up!
Summer In The City Tag 2019 | Brandon Wisdom
The annual British YouTube convention, Summer in the City, is just around the corner. Every year, in preparation, those attending take part in a Summer in the City YouTube tag to help others going get to know them and know where they’re gonna be all weekend.
Our favourite tag so far this year is from the lovely Brandon Wisdom. He remarks on how the convention for him isn’t about the meet and greets and crying over your favourite creators (which we still do but in a cool way), it’s about the community! It’s an opportunity to come together and meet your friends and other like-minded creators and start friendships.
Why Forgetting Your Medicine Barricades Your Independence | Sez Francis
Sez Francis was diagnosed with Epilepsy when she was a teenager and it requires her to take medication each and every day to be able to manage it. However, she shares the story of what happened when twice in one week she, unfortunately, forgot to take her meds. It’s a simple mistake, we’re all human with bad memories after all but something so simple can have a major impact.
It made her realise just how important that daily activity of taking her medication is to her independence. Sez’s parents remarked that if she was unable to remember to take her medication every day then she wouldn’t be able to travel alone, something we all take for granted. This made her realise that it’s no laughing matter and has stepped up and now uses her phone to remind her each and every day when she needs to take them. It’s a lesson we can all get behind.
Forensic Evidence Types | Physical vs. Trace | Angela Innes
In Angela Innes‘ super interesting series, she breaks down the difference between the different type of forensics evidence types. This video focuses on the differences between physical and trace evidence.
Physical evidence is the type of evidence that is an object that can be picked up and put into an evidence bag. While trace is evidence something like a fingerprint, it is something that can’t be picked up and has to be developed further.
When it comes to this topic, we are total newbs. We wouldn’t even know where to start but luckily, we are subscribed to the genius that is Angela. She explains this topic so well and it’s even easy for us to follow along and understand.
SCORPIUS MALFOY REVIEWS EVERY HARRY POTTER FILM | Bertie Gilbert
Bertie Gilbert has returned from the grave to remind us that he is actually alive. In this video, he takes a break from creating wonderful films to sit down and talk all things, Harry Potter. He goes through all the films in the franchise, picking on their strengths and weaknesses.
To Bertie, these films are the epitome of franchise excellence. Which is saying a lot in our current climate which is populated with franchises left and centre.
What makes this video that extra bit special is that Bertie was actually apart of the harry potter films back in the day. He played Draco Malfoy’s son, Scorpius, in the final Harry Potter film in a flash-forward that showed all the main characters, aged and with children. While it may have just been a small role, it is something that will always stick with him.
Not Over You (Official Video) | Conor Maynard
No one loves Conor Maynard more than us. We’ve been jamming along to his songs since the days of his album Contrast (Vegas Girl is the biggest bop, fight us on that). And in 2019, we’re still dancing along as his music evolves.
This song is so catchy and is accompanied by a funny and quite wholesome video. This video cannot be discussed, it has to be experienced.

Pound Stores are full of hidden gems but somethings are just not worth the few pounds saved. Cheap make-up is always a tricky one, it hard to track where it’s from and if you don’t know what’s in it, there’s no way to say how it’ll react to your skin. Maddie Bruce takes this risk as she embarks on a day with just PoundShop make-up to see if it is really as bad as its made out.
Jordan Hopes loves a good conspiracy. This week he delves into the well-known conspiracy about Princess Diana’s death and if the Queen killed her. If he goes missing, you know it’s true.
To celebrate National Girlfriend Day, Sophie Foster‘s boyfriend picked her our 5 outfits and it surprisingly didn’t go horribly.
