Nine Times Ibz Mo Made University Life A Lot Easier

Post-secondary education, the most exciting and stressful time of any student’s life.

University can be difficult. Luckily for us, Ibrahim Mohammed has a video to help us through everything it has to offer, from cooking and gadgets, to Freshers Week and everything in-between. You might even say he’s our guardian angel, making sure we’re able to achieve the marks we want while also taking in all this experience has to offer. (Which is a lot.)

When we learned to cook a quick and cheap meal

A whole host of people don’t really know how to cook cheaply beyond the staple of beans on toast when they first start university. That’s not a bad thing, it’s just that beans on toast happens to get stale pretty quickly, especially when you’re eating it three times a day. Thankfully, Ibz and Jasmine have our backs with this incredibly cheap and easy recipe for chickpea curry. With a summary of how much all the ingredients cost, there’s really no excuse to not get cooking!

When we were reminded what we need at university

Who doesn’t have a fond story of the very important things they forgot to take with them during their first year of university? Hopefully, future students who watch this video or at least see a portion of it have a little more of a chance than the rest of us. From laundry to seasoning, here are 10 must haves.

When we got the gossip

Whether you attend one of them and want the dirt on the other universities, think they’re very overrated and went somewhere else, or have an opinion in-between, we all love a bit of gossip. If university life is getting you down, don’t worry. You’re about to gain the dirt on all the UK’s top universities, from UCL to Manchester.

Okay, maybe this isn’t the most useful of videos, but it’s well worth a watch. Also, a cheeky plot twist of positives regarding each university is something we all sometimes need reminding about.

What we should and shouldn’t buy

Technology can be a life saver whilst at university, but if you buy everything it can add up in no time at all. Luckily for us, this handy video exists, giving us recommendations for what we should buy, as well as the gadgets we definitely don’t need. (As much as we may feel like we do.)

Societies: yay or nay?

When you first start university, the number of societies available to you is honestly overwhelming, but should you bother joining one at all? Don’t ask us – watch this video and decide for yourself!

Does getting into a good university mean you’re smart?

Did we forget everything we learned the second we got our exam results back? Of course not! Well, maybe… Ibz tests this by asking GCSE-level questions to university students. Let’s see just how smart those working toward their degrees really are.
