There is so much to do with it! You can grow it long or keep it short; it can be styled in a braid or you can use a curling iron to make beach waves for days; and it can be dyed every colour under the sun. It’s one of the many ways we can express ourselves and that’s what we love the most about it! In fact, we love it so much that we decided to dedicate an entire article to the numerous videos our favourite YouTubers have filmed in regards to it. (We wish ours looked as good as theirs.)
Prepare for some major hair inspo with our Five of the Best: It’s All About Hair!

Reacting to our Hair History | ad | Helen Anderson
We throwing things back with this video Helen Anderson made in 2017, where she and her friend, Josie, react to the hairstyles and colours they had back when they were teenagers. Buckle up, everyone, because this will take you all back to your own days of questionable hair choices.
From Paramore phases (we all had one) to some classic scene/emo looks, this video is golden. If there’s anyone who’s had a detailed hair history, it’s Helen, as she’s never been scared to try out different hair colours and styles. Ugh, greasy hair. It’s the worst, right? Some are lucky enough that we can go three or four days without our locks looking weighed down with oil, while others are stuck washing their hair everyday because their scalps think it a good idea to seep out grease like its emptying a deep-fryer. In this video, Kaushal shares with us five quick and easy looks to rock when our hair is oily. If you want to give your hair a break from the damage and heat caused by hair straighteners and curling irons, then these looks are definitely some to consider. With techniques like back-combing your hair and using a high ponytail, Roksana shows us how to get awesome and voluminous hairstyles without the need for damaging tools. Our fave looks? Definitely the style that makes her look like she’s just walked off the set of Game Of Thrones and the fishtail braid.
How I Cut & Shape My Natural Hair | FusionofCultures
If you ask us, Laila-Jean Washington has the most gorgeous hair we’ve ever seen. Ever wanted to learn how she cuts and styles it? Then this video is the one for you!
To start off the video, Laila explains to her viewers how her hair grows, as well as her plans for it in 2018. After informing us on the type of clippers she’ll be using, she gets right to work, and the result is an overall relaxing video that also works as a DIY tutorial for those of you interested in trying this at home. What we love most about Laila’s channel is her emphasis on healthy hair. While it might be nice to have long locks, what’s the point if the hair at the end is split and breaking off? That’s not to say you can’t have both long AND healthy hair. Laila even has a video where she shares her tips on how to optimise your hair’s growth!
So there you have it…
Our Five of the Best: It’s All About Hair! We hope this article inspired you to try something different with your look. (We know it has us.) Who knows, maybe we’ll dye it a bright purple or decide to rock that hair style we’ve been too afraid to try.
