Have you ever wondered how we come up with these article intros?
Well, we’re going to let you in on a little secret: we have no idea ourselves. Honestly, if you asked us what the hardest part is about writing things like Tweets of the Week, the Weekly Round-Up or our Five of the Best column, the majority of us would say it’s writing out these intros. It’s not that we’re not creative or anything, it’s just that there are only so many times you can talk about the weather or about what holiday is coming up. So if you have any suggestions on what we can talk about, please do let us know! (Seriously, we can use all the help we can get.)
Now that we’ve filled you in on our deepest and darkest secret, we’ll move on to what’s important and that is our favourite YouTuber tweets from the past week. This edition of Tweets of the Week is filled with some quality content, so what are you waiting for? Let’s jump into it!
This would only happen to Gary
Gary: "Can I borrow hairspray?"
Me: "Yeah sure."
Gary: *Proceeds to spray Sure for Men in his hair.*
Me: "That's deodorant."@oohgaryc

You’re different than we expected
everyone: orla you’re smaller in person
— orla gartland (@orlagartland) April 11, 2019
We experience this kind of reaction on the reg, Orla Gartland. Except, it’s more along the lines of people realising we’re much taller in person than they expected.
If only we could be carefree again
My biggest worry at 14: omg I have acne :((
My biggest worry at 20: heaven is fake, death is inevitable and can happen at any point because life is completely random and has no purpose at all, we were an accide-
— 𝖊𝖒𝖔 𝖒𝖔𝖒 (@YasmineSumman) April 14, 2019
Oh, how we miss the days when having bad acne was the worst of our worries, Yasmine Summan. Now, we’re in a constant spiral of midlife crises and worrying about how death is inevitable and can sneak up on us at any point… It’s not fun, is it?
Make sure people aren’t taking more than you’re giving them.
— Grace ☾ (@GraceFVictory) April 13, 2019
We interrupt our regularly scheduled program to give you this VERY important tweet from Grace F. Victory. Remember to surround yourselves with people who know your worth and offer you the same love and support you give them.
I’m having a moment guys…If you think about it, everyone doesn’t have a brain, everyone IS the brain. You are a brain, and you’re inside a body that you’re controlling. Your thoughts, actions & everything is the brain which is YOU. You are a brain. 🤯

Late night thoughts with Joe Tasker.
(Don’t think too much about this or you’ll get a headache.)
Yeah, we’re not impressed

We give this joke a 2/10, Daniel J. Layton. It had substance, but just didn’t meet our standards. Better luck next time.
Time off is glorious
I have 2 days off and I feel like it’s the summer holidays, that’s how excited I am for these 2 days off
— Sophie Foster ✨ (@Sophie_FosterXx) April 12, 2019
Ugh, we feel this hardcore, Sophie Foster. Whenever we get an extended amount of time off, we feel as if we’re on holiday and it’s fantastic.
We suck at texting back
I’m being brave and turning on read receipts to try and urge myself to reply instantly instead of mentally replying and completely forgetting 🤷🏼♂️
— Jake Edwards ✨ (@jakeftmagic) April 10, 2019
Has this actually resulted in your responding to texts faster, Jake Edwards. We’re the absolute WORST at responding, so any tips on how we can improve are greatly appreciated.
Cats make us do weird things
there's a very good activity I like to do with my cat and it goes like this:
she sits patiently and ignores me while I stand over her chanting the first thing that comes into my head. Today it is "orange juice! orange juice!"
Fun for all the family.
— Chloe Dungate (@ScarfDemon) April 14, 2019
Chloe Dungate is offering up a prime example of the strange things cat owners do, for those of you who haven’t had the pleasure of owning such wonderful creatures. One thing we ourselves do is have full-on conversations with our cats when they meow at us.
I’ve just concluded now that I am permanently tired & no amount of sleep will rectify this lol love that for me

We concluded this about ourselves a long time ago, Luke Birch. Welcome to the club.
