Luke Cutforth and his sister Katie have announced that they are taking part in the Great North Run half marathon on 8 September 2019. On the fundraising page for the run, Luke expressed “Alzheimes [sic] is something that affect us all directly or indirectly and we can find a cure together”.
The SimplyHealth Great North Run will take place across Newcastle, finishing at South Shields with a duration of 13.1 miles.
Luke set a fundraising goal of £500. He explained on Twitter that he is running “on behalf of my Granny, who’s struggling a lot with this horrible disease”. Luke previously featured his grandmother on multiple videos on his channel, including a “Wholesome Q&A”.
You can donate to the cause on Luke and Katie’s official donation page.
