The app will be called Things You Might Not Know.
Tom Scott shared on Twitter that he is potentially working on creating an app that will give you interesting facts about your location, no matter where you are in the world.

He is developing the app together with Storythings, a media company focused on helping people “tell stories that have impact” through different mediums.
You can apply to be one of the beta testers and early adopters, and get early access to the app on iOS or Android.
