Dodie has written a new song for an upcoming episode of children’s TV show Moominvalley.
Moominvalley is a new children’s television series adapted from Tove and Lars Jansson’s classic Moomin book and comics. Dodie’s song will feature in the series and also be included on the CD and streaming versions of the soundtrack. She will however not be included on the vinyl record of the soundtrack as she explains on Twitter she is “pretty late being involved”.

The soundtrack will also feature the likes of Alma, MØ and Tom Odell and will be released on 19 April 2019.
Three previous television adaptations of the Moomins have been made, including ‘New Moomin’ produced in 1972 and ‘Moomin’ produced from 1990 to 1992.
The soundtrack is available for purchase on the Moomin website.
