Both the documentary and Emi’s interview are available to watch through Sky News’ social media platforms
Emi Salida has recently been involved in a mini documentary that aired on Sky News, which helps to raise awareness and provide information about Asexuality. The documentary was created by Charlie Bell, who also features in the documentary alongside Emi and Yasmin Benoit.
Emi also featured on Sky News live breakfast show on 3 February, in which she further discussed her experiences with being Asexual. The interview is currently available to watch through Sky New’s Twitter account.
In a recent YouTube video, Emi shared that she is also helping with this year’s Student Pride Event. The event is held at the University of Westminster on the 22 to 24 February 2019. The event includes panels and film screenings for 16+ and a variety of 18+ events, in partnership with G-A-Y and Heaven. Tickets are currently available to purchase for £5 on the Student Pride website.
Updated 18 March 2019:
TenEighty previously stated that this documentary was created by Yasmin Benoit. This statement has now been amended to correctly attribute the documentary’s creation to Charlie Bell.
