The total livestream amount exceeds $100,000 and is still growing.
Sean McLoughlin has completed his first charity livestream of 2019. His audience raised over $100,000 to benefit the Make-a-Wish foundation. Sean decided to dedicate the first livestream to the Make-A-Wish Foundation because of his “strong connection with Make-A-Wish.” In his own words, “I’ve done a lot of work with Make-A-Wish and it’s been some of the most wonderful experiences of my life.”

The livestream was announced on 23 January via a video named You’re Gonna Wanna Hear This!. In the video, Sean explains that the hard work his community put into the livestreams last year was “absolutely amazing” and he wants to continue the trend of his Positive Mental Attitude livestreams. He goes on to say that he aims to have a charity livestream every month this year, for a total of 12, compared to 8 in 2018.
As part of the dedicated year of charity livestreams, Sean has introduced limited time pins available on his merch store. Each new month will have a different pin. He explains “the idea behind it was to have a Pokémon type badge collection and to have a really cool set to look back on at the end of the year.” January’s pin badge is available here.
Another incredibly successful charity livestream and starting the year off strong! Thank you so much for being part of it today. Anyone who donated large or small, you're all wonderful people and you're doing a lot of good in the world ❤️ pic.twitter.com/KKplbBQu1T

Sean set the goal of reaching $100,000 for the first livestream of the year and completed it in just over 6.5 hours. As with all of his previous livestreams, Sean has left the donation page open past the stream date, in this case until 2 February. In addition, all of the profits from his Positive Mental Attitude merch store during this time will go to the Make-a-Wish Foundation.
