Hannah Witton has announced the release of her second book, The Hormone Diaries, which will be published on 13 June 2019.
The book is based on Hannah Witton’s YouTube series of the same name and will explore living with your period and the hormones that affect our bodies.
The Hormone Diaries will be published by Hachette Children’s Group, who previously published Hannah’s first book Doing It!
Taking to YouTube to share the news, Hannah also revealed that the book will feature a selection of stories and experiences relating to periods, contraception, and hormones sourced from her viewers and social media followers.
Speaking about her writing process, Hannah also discussed the year-long journey of developing the book after it was delayed following serious illness.
“To be honest, this year has not only been physically really hard on me but, mentally, I have not been in a place where I have been able to focus on anything,” she told her viewers. “It feels so damn good to be writing again because I was so daunted and so scared of doing it for so long.”
The Hormone Diaries is available to pre-order now via Amazon.
