Internet Reacts to Kelsey Ellison Viral Video

Can you get down like #DancingHermione?

Unless you’ve been living under a rock (or have somehow managed to avoid Twitter all week), then you’ve most likely seen the viral video of Hermione dancing at MCM Comic Con last weekend. But did you know that Hermione is actually YouTube’s own Kelsey Ellison?

Kelsey is a queen of cosplay, we all know that, but what we weren’t aware of was her dancing skills! The girl’s got some moves and everyone is taking notice – and we mean everyone. Throughout the week, the video of Kelsey dancing as Hermione has gone viral, spreading across Twitter and the internet, and the reaction has been huge! From fellow YouTubers to random Twitter users, everyone’s had something to say about the video, so we’ve decided to round up our favourites.

US vlogger Sky Williams wasn’t the only one to find the video hilarious! The fact that Kelsey’s dancing is so far away from Hermione’s character is part of the reason the video’s gone so viral.

We’re obsessed

The Luna Diaries isn’t the only one to have an obsession with this video, and just like her, we’re having trouble pinpointing our favourite thing about it. After much deliberation, we think it has to be the wand work – that’s talent, right there.

Who knew a cosplay video could have such an impact on the world?!

Everyone was getting involved

Everyone, including US vlogger GloZell Green, were getting in on the action. One search of #DancingHermione on Twitter results in many videos of Kelsey dancing to a whole host of songs!

That’s definitely going viral

The minute we saw the video we knew it would hit peak viral status. We’re glad we aren’t the only ones to think so.

Beckii Cruel wasn’t the only one excited over how viral the video went! We too were stoked to see how much attention Kelsey’s dance moves were getting.

Poor BB-8

There was A LOT happening in the video, and we’re glad someone pointed out the person in the background grinding up on BB-8. We think we might be scarred for life…

And there’s a sequel…
