Better late than never, right?
Before you have a go at us, we’ll admit, yes, this edition of Tweets of the Week is a bit late. But can you blame us? We’ve seen so preoccupied with everything else going on at the moment, like the Royal Wedding, which we haven’t completely recovered from, and Emma Blackery announcing her album details. So, yes, we apologise for being slackers, but we had a good reason.
Since we’re publishing this a few days late, we’d like to reassure you all of the quality of the following tweets. They’ll make you laugh, they’ll make you smile and, most of all, they’ll remind you why YouTubers are some of the most amazing people on the planet and as such need to be fiercely protected from the evils of the world.
Enjoy!

We don’t think we’ve ever related to Zannah Perrins more than we do with these photos. This is exactly how we’d react to being in the presence of SUCH an adorable kitty. *infinite heart-eye emojis*
u ok hun??
She’s snoring, like actually snoring what am I supposed to do?????
— Luna (@Lunalxigh) May 17, 2018
This girl is all of us during exam time, Luna Leigh. We can recall at least two occasions in which we accidentally fell asleep in the library, only to be woken up because our snores were too loud.
That’s self control
How committed am I to finishing my degree you ask? Well, there’s a shibe hanging out at my friend’s house today – it’s taken every ounce of my self control but I have NOT dropped everything I need to be doing ALL DAY just to go and give it a pat on the head.
— Matt Ley (@Thelaserbearguy) May 19, 2018
We don’t think we would have been able to exercise that much self control, Matt Ley. We mean, it’s a Shibe! We would have to go give it a pat on the head for being such a good doggo.
This doesn’t look right…
A lot of people are telling me to vlog with a tripod instead but this is honestly much worse pic.twitter.com/y6Pt59zheR

We think you misunderstood what people were trying to tell you, Tom Ridgewell. A for effort, though.
Adulthood
i feel like the fact that i got excited by a toilet seat with a handle on it says a lot about me
— houssein (@CheekyHoussein) May 18, 2018
We feel like getting excited over such things is a sign you’re becoming an adult, Houssein Guney. Soon you’ll find yourself looking forward to new episodes of Antiques Roadshow and saying “In my day…”.
The turkey sandwich
I don’t need this turkey sandwich. pic.twitter.com/EgK0SAOrzq
— Hazel Hayes (@TheHazelHayes) May 20, 2018
I ate it. I really really didn’t need to. But it was tasty.
— Hazel Hayes (@TheHazelHayes) May 20, 2018
There’s never a bad time to eat a turkey sandwich. We’re glad Hazel Hayes agrees.
You’re so 2000 and late
people who use :') and XD emojis live on a different plane of existence
— Connie Glynn (@noodlerella) May 17, 2018
We’re not going to lie, Connie Glynn, we might have used both these faces in our texts when we were younger. But, in our defence, it’s because we were trying to be lolrandom. XD
…On second thought, there really is no defence.
You’re so punny
Please stop all rushing to my outdoor food party. Form a barbe-queue.
— Luke Cutforth 🌊✨ (@LukeCutforth) May 20, 2018
Who do you think you are, Luke Cutforth? Way to step all over Evan Edinger‘s territory.
Nope, nope, nopity, nope
So far since last week we have had about 5 spiders in the house, there's one big one in our bathroom and he terrorises me EVERY NIGHT. WE CAN'T CATCH IT EIHER WTF
— Mike Jerry (@xitsmike) May 17, 2018
How have you not burnt down your house already, Mike Jerry?! Spiders are a big no-no for us.
Literally everyone
*doesn't care about royal wedding*
*finds self sat in front of the TV since 9am watching the royal wedding*— Sam Carr (@saamcarr) May 19, 2018
We’re pretty sure Sam Carr was everyone during the broadcast of the Royal Wedding. There was no way you could escape it!
