The inaugural Buffer Festival LA is set to take place on 17 May, with a number of UK YouTubers in attendance.
The one-day event will occur at Hollywood’s Ricardo Montalbán Theatre, and the UK creators set to attend include dodie, Hannah Witton, Louis Cole, and Tim Hautekiet. They will be joined by a variety of other creators, including US vloggers Anna Akana and Jon Cozart.
The event’s daytime programming is dominated by the “Insight Series”, which will run from 12.30pm to 4.30pm PST. It aims to bring creators and industry executives together in an open discussion about the challenges in collaborating, and will be hosted by US vlogger Meghan Camarena. Those in attendance will receive advice on how to best work together with brands, how to elevate their content, and will hear stories from both creators and brands about their successes and failures. Louis will be participating in a conversation called Behind the Scenes of a Six-Figure Project, while Tim will share his thoughts during the Managing Exceptions discussion. Both sessions will feature Tubefilter’s Drew Baldwin.
A meet-and-greet red carpet event will follow from 6pm to 6.30pm, before world premiere screenings from 7pm to 10pm.
Those wishing to purchase tickets for Buffer Festival LA or have a more in-depth look at its schedule can do so via the event’s official website.
