Where will you be when it all ends?
Avengers: Infinity War is out on Friday. We repeat, Avengers: Infinity War is out on Friday. If you’re like us here at TenEighty HQ, then you’ve been eagerly awaiting what is sure to be the best movie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. You’ve probably binge-watched all the previous films, analysed the trailers multiple times, and spent hours wracking your brain over which Avenger will perish. (If any… Although, we pretty much all know it’s going to happen.)
You know who else are pretty big fans of Marvel? Our fave YouTubers, and just last night many of them were treated to an early screening of the film – we’re not going to lie, we were pretty jealous. While they thankfully haven’t given any spoilers, it appears the film had quite an effect on them, and we thought, “What better way to torture ourselves than to scour the depths of Twitter to see what they had to say about it?” And since we’re doing this to ourselves, we thought we might as well torture you all too…
Some had to miss it…
So gutted to miss the Avengers screening tonight in London! I squealed when it hit my inbox then sobbed when I realised we’d be in LA. I can’t wait to see it when we get home!!!
— Zoe London (@zoelondondj) April 24, 2018
Not to be rude or anything, Zoe London, but did you not think to forward that email to us? We’d have totally pretended to be you in order to sneak into the screening. We might have had trouble finding a purple wig, but we would have managed.
Goodbye, internet
I heard the new avengers is insane. So I wont be using social media till I see it for myself. Bye Internet.
— KSI (@KSIOlajidebt) April 24, 2018
Ugh, if only we had to same amount of willpower KSI does. We’re terrified of people tweeting spoilers, but we also can’t stand to be away from social media for more than a couple of hours. We might have a slight problem…
It was an emotional rollercoaster
Just saw #InfinityWar. Emotionally wrecked. Going to bed and not waking up until Avengers 4 comes out.
— Thomas "TomSka" Ridgewell (@thetomska) April 24, 2018
Guys #InfinityWar has left me S H O O K
I'm going to bed to contain my broken emotions. pic.twitter.com/JyJyGR71EX
— Sammy (@SammyAlbon) April 24, 2018
If Tom Ridgewell and Sammy Albon‘s tweets are anything to go by, then we all better expect to feel a plethora (yes, we said plethora) of emotions whilst watching Infinity War. As if we weren’t feeling them already just waiting for the film to come out!
There’s no competition
Here’s my review of Infinity War:
DC, just quit. It’s embarrassing.#ThanosDemandsYourSilence
— Dean Dobbs (@DeanDobbs) April 24, 2018
We think it’s really cute that you’re trying, DC, but we suggest you follow Dean Dobbs‘s advice and just give up already. We think it’s best for everyone. (Although, keep releasing the Wonder Woman films because those are ace.)
You good?
it has been two hours since I saw Infinity War pic.twitter.com/KFf9uEALBV
— Chloe Dungate (@ScarfDemon) April 24, 2018
We think Infinity War has left Chloe Dungate unable to even. You know what? If you were to walk the streets of London right now, odds are you’d still find her lying in that exact same spot. The power of film, man.
No words…

You know what that look in Eddie Bowley‘s eyes says? It says, “I’ve seen things”. We don’t think there’s a better review than that!
Life-changing
I just saw #InfinityWar and I don’t think I’ll ever be the same again H O L Y W O W.
That’s all I’m saying goodnight.
— Connie Glynn (@connieglynn) April 24, 2018
You know a movie’s good when it has the ability to change your life. Don’t believe us? Ask Connie Glynn. She’ll tell you the exact same thing.
“I’m going to have a heart attack”
Thanks to @Disney_UK I saw an early screening of @Avengers #InfinityWar. As the Marvel sequence opened I turned to one of my friends & said “I think I’m going to have a heart attack.” I was excited & it didn’t disappoint. So happy right now, a great cinema experience! 😍 pic.twitter.com/HTNSw122EO
— Gary C (@oohgaryc) April 24, 2018
We’ll pretty much be just like Gary C when we eventually get to see the film.
Better than your mum
The new Avengers movie is better than your mum
— Wedgeman Simon (@miniminter) April 24, 2018
We’re not too sure about that, Simon Minter. Our mums are pretty grand. They bake for us, give us encouragement, and send us daily pictures of our pets… However, they weren’t able to get us into last night’s screening, so perhaps you’re right.
Final thoughts…
Absolutely LOVED #InfinityWar 🙌🏼 😍Great plot, hilarious script & all round incredible film, definitely worth a watch! pic.twitter.com/V08g8naqjO
— Amber Doig-Thorne (@AmbzDT) April 24, 2018
I’ll keep this vague but yeah… Infinity War is superb. Character driven, very fun, very emotional and full of exciting set-pieces / consequential plot points. Also surprisingly subversive in places. Really loved it. pic.twitter.com/qEYExCKKuj
— Sammy Paul (@ICOEPR) April 24, 2018
From what Amber Doig-Thorne, Sammy Paul, and the rest of the YouTubers on this list are saying, it looks like Infinity War will be everything we wanted and more!
The anticipation is killing us!
Ugh, why do we have to wait until the end of the week to see the film. We want to see it NOW. We need to see the action, the humour, the gut-wrenching moments, everything! Does anyone have a time machine that’ll allow us to jump forward in time? We promise we’ll only use it for a couple of hours and return it good as new.
