Lindsey Holland shares the tips and tricks that help her turn a bad day into a good one.
The Reset Series sees the fashion and lifestyle blogger opening up about how she manages her mental health. In her efforts to not shy away from her viewers, Lindsey talks about how her experiences with anxiety and a string of low moods made her want to take control and find ways to “cope when things get a little too much”.
In the most recent instalment, Lindsey sits down to talk us through her diet and fitness regime, sharing the things that motivate her and help her to turn a bad day around. She is quick to add that any products she recommends are affordable (something we’re very grateful for!), pointing out that she wants to avoid “buying into happiness”.
The series began when Lindsey wanted to share some of the things she does to take control of the situation when she is feeling uncomfortable, anxious, or sad. Often speaking about her struggles on her Instagram Stories, she realised the need to open up the conversation more, and The Reset Series was born.
Referring to her journey as a difficult learning curve, she says that “the most valuable thing in the world is sharing information like this that can only come with experience”. In doing this, we think she’s doing amazing things to fight mental health stigma.
Each video in the series offers something different. After the introduction, the first video focuses on two products, the This Works Pillow Spray which helps you wind down so you can get some sleep, and The Happiness Planner – something which helps you to keep things in perspective and show you that, although not every day may be a good day, there is something good in every day.
The second one also shares some products and tricks, while the third features a rather raw and honest Q&A surrounding mental health. The latest in the series focuses on the diet and fitness tips which Lindsey uses to help her on her journey.
We love Lindsey’s videos and think they’re an amazing and practical insight into some of the ways in which people can get a handle on their mental health. We can’t wait for more from this series!
