Amelia Mandeville’s debut novel, Every Colour of You, will be published on 15 November 2018.
In a video on the Mandeville Sisters channel, Amelia announced that the book is “women’s fiction” and will be published by Little, Brown, with more details to be revealed closer to the publication date.
Amelia first mentioned she was writing a book in a video from 2014, on the YouTube channel which she shares with her sister, Grace.
The new video – uploaded on 6 February – recounts the saga of Amelia’s writing process, including numerous rejections and a hiatus in 2015.
It then segues into Amelia receiving a phone call, after which she tells viewers she has a book deal.
Towards the end of the video, Amelia thanks viewers: “I want to thank you guys for going on this journey with me, and also for giving me the support and constantly asking me questions and giving me that encouragement.
“I did get a lot of rejections and it did take me a while to get here, but I think if there’s a message in that, it’s literally don’t give up – really don’t give up,” she said.
Fellow YouTubers Lucy Moon and Niki Albon have taken to Twitter to congratulate Amelia:

The blurb says the book is about a girl named Zoe who is “spreading her mission of happiness, one inspirational quote at a time” and is “perfect for fans of Giovanna Fletcher“.
Every Colour of You is now available for preorder on Amazon.
