Looking to up your organisation game? In her latest video, Emma Pickles takes us through the inner workings of her bullet journal to help you do exactly that.
A bullet journal is a customisable planner where you can tailor the contents to suit your lifestyle and needs – making it perfect if you are content creator, a student, or someone in your twenties trying to navigate your way through life.
YouTube is flooded with well-designed and -curated bullet journal videos. What sets Emma Pickles‘s apart is how manageable she makes it seem. At first glance, bullet journals look like a lot of work but Emma debunks this notion and demonstrates how it can be the complete opposite.
2018 Bullet Journal Setup starts off with Emma showing the journal she has chosen, before launching into the different pages she looks to include, such as planners and personalised pages like blogging and YouTube to-do lists. We get a peek into the designs of particular pages, with Emma showing her use of colour, fun fonts, and washi tape along the way. To be honest, we couldn’t be more jealous of her bullet journal aesthetic.
“I think it is really nice to open up your journal and be greeted with something that makes you happy as well as a list of work to do,” she shares as she sticks some pictures of the past few months into the journal – adding a little bit of her personality amongst the weekly schedules and lists.
Emma shows us how you can mix personality and organisation by using a bullet journal in a way which is to-the-point and easy to understand, making it a great starting point for anyone looking to delve into the world of bullet journaling. Writing articles can wait, we’ve got a new obsession now…
