Stuart Ashen once again delves into the world of Poundland “bargains”.
Stuart has found some ~interesting~ items for his Poundland specials over the years, and this latest video is no exception. In the past, he’s bought some very unappealing food, not the safest of fireworks, and some not-so-kid-friendly toys. But this time he’s truly surpassed himself, finding Poundland’s very own brand of toilet roll, along with some candles that aren’t as you expect.
In his usual satirical reviewing style, Stuart tears apart this latest batch of items (quite literally, in the case of the toilet paper). Included are some “name” candles, like the ones for Patrick that actually spell out “Party”, the “Emilk” candles for Emily, and best of all, “Liar” for Liam.
He makes some really interesting picks with this special. It may even inspire you to buy your friends and family some wonderfully disappointing Poundland stocking-fillers this Christmas.
The brown sofa has definitely seen worse products than these, but at least you know now what you should perhaps avoid in Poundland, whether you’re looking for some toys or some novelty tat for a friend’s birthday. Stuart makes it very clear that you can do better, unless you really do want a £1 bog roll.
Stuart’s Christmas special will be in our subscription box soon and we can’t wait to see what else he’s got in store!
