While our American friends are swimming in turkey and mash this week, we here at TenEighty are enjoying an extended stay in the YouTube pool.
We desperately wish we had an excuse to stuff our faces with excessive amounts of food and drink this month… Oh, wait! Elliot Gough actually reminded us yesterday that no-one can tell us when we can or can’t partake in a fair bit of gluttony, so we’ll probably just be eating non-stop over the next two months.
While we’re doing that, you guys can feast on the Round-Up! Oh, c’mon, don’t look at us like that. You can’t expect us to feed ALL of you.
Jalapeño Mac ‘n’ Cheese…. Vegan Style! | SORTEDfood
We of course made that mistake (yet again) where we watched YouTube while hungry, meaning we were drooling watching this video.
Most of us probably know how wonderful the mac and cheese from Camden Market is, but there’s one little problem with it: you have to go out into the world to get it. And who wants to do that?! Honestly. This week, though, the SORTEDfood boys came in clutch by delivering a vegan mac and cheese recipe that’s the perfect comfort food for the upcoming winter months.
MY (TEEN) SKINCARE ROUTINE 2017 | YazOnline
Speaking of the upcoming winter months, are we the only people who get horribly dry skin when it’s cold outside? Yes? No? *crickets* Okay then, moving on.
Yasmin Caramanli must’ve heard our cries for help because her newest vlog is all about skincare. While she doesn’t specify that it’s for the cold winter weather, we think the routine will be perfect for keeping our skin healthy and hydrated.
CRAZY FIRST DAY IN DUBAI!! | PointlessBlogVlogs
Alfie Deyes took three friends on a mystery holiday, only telling them it was to Dubai when they got to the airport. As the days are getting shorter and it’s starting to feel bitterly cold outside, somehow watching Alfie jump off a paddleboard and cruise down a lazy river makes everything feel right with the world.
Is there a social network where you can find a friend that’ll take you on a mystery holiday like this? Because, umm, our suitcases are already packed and we promise to sleep on the plane, so we’re ready for our first day of fun.
What Is the Power of a Hug? | Fun Science | Charlieissocoollike
We’re starting to sense a pattern in this week’s picks. That theme? Winter sucks. So, continuing that trend is Charlie McDonnell. We’re only joking. While, technically, we could tie this video to the seasonal depression one may experience during the winter months and why hugs can be an important remedy, let’s try to find something more upbeat to say.
Oh, wait. What? This is Fun Science‘s last episode, for now? That’s not more upbeat, that’s actually worse. Alright then, umm… *nervously smiles* This week, Charlie educates us on the importance of hugs and the cool effects that they have on our lives and our bodies. See, we made that more upbeat… Right?
WOULD YOU RATHER (with Jack Howard) | Hazel Hayes
There’s no possible way we can turn Hazel Hayes‘s new video with Jack Howard into a “winter sucks and is almost here, so here’s how to survive” one, right? WRONG! While this video is very fun and full of infectious laughter, we’ve messed up and made a theme, so, naturally, we have to stick to it. We’re so sorry.
This video is in collaboration with NowTV, which sounds great for the winter when you’re avoiding the cold weather and looking for a way to watch your favourite shows: curled up, on the couch, under a blanket, eating the vegan mac and cheese you made. Wow! That scene actually sounds pretty great right about now, considering today is just the start of the work week.
Want more? Why didn’t you say so?!
Ioan Morgan-Jones reminds us how absolutely stunning nature can be during autumn.
Last week, Matt Watson shared how he proposed to Devon. This week, he tells us about sharing the news with Darcy. The whole situation just makes our hearts so happy – congratulations, guys!
Hannah Leigh lends her voice and bravery to the hashtag #MeToo.
Black History Month was last month, so Teeyana Aromi shares with us what BHM means to her.
