The annual YouTube convention VidCon is set to occur in Anaheim, California from 20 – 23 June 2018.
The first wave of creators for VidCon 2018 have been announced. Along with UK creators dodie, Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs, Taha Khan, SmallishBeans, and Sam Saffold-Geri, the event will also feature appearances from US vloggers Nathan Zed, Casey Neistat, and Hannah Hart.
The annual convention is set to be held at the Anaheim Convention Center, and was originally created in 2010 by Hank and John Green of Vlogbrothers. As in previous years, the event will feature a variety of activities, including meet-and-greets, panels, workshops, and Q&As. This year’s VidCon will also feature a Disney Day, where attendees can visit Disneyland and Disney California Adventure for a discounted rate.
Those wishing to attend 2018’s event have the option of purchasing one of three ticket types, which range in price from $100 to $550. The Community Track ticket is for those interested in online content who wish to attend the aforementioned community activities, as well as the VidCon Prom and movie nights, while the Creator Track is for those wishing to improve their online content and adds access to extra panels, networking, workshops, and demos. Finally, the Industry Track is for those working beyond online content creation, including anyone working for production companies, branding, and networks.
