Dodie Clark and Simon’s Cat have been nominated in the seventh annual Streamy Awards.
The awards ceremony is set to take place on 26 September in Beverly Hills, California. The yearly event brings together some of the biggest names in YouTube for a night of celebration.
Dodie Clark has been nominated for Breakthrough Artist, and Simon’s Cat is nominated in the Animated category, the only two nominations for British creators in the 2017 awards.

Other nominees from around the world include Casey Neistat, who is up for six awards, Lilly Singh, who is up for four, and RoosterTeeth, who are up for three.
In a press release, the Streamy Awards stated: “Winners of the Streamy Awards will be determined by the Streamys Blue Ribbon Panel, a judging body of creators, executives, and other experts in the online video industry.” Fans will be able to vote for their favourite nominees in two Audience Choice categories, Creator of the Year and Show of the Year, with the vote opening on 12 September.
