Get ready to say “Hello” to the UK’s newest YouTube event.
With Summer in the City behind us for yet another year (*cries*), many of us have been left with what feels like a massive void in our lives. But fear not! Those in need of a fix will be pleased to know that the UK’s newest YouTube event, HelloWorld, is just around the corner!
Set to occur at Birmingham’s Genting Arena this coming October, HelloWorld is an immersive event like no other. From musical performances to talks, games to signings, it’s an event you simply can’t miss, which is why we’ve decided to give you seven reasons why you HAVE to attend!
1. The lineup is pretty impressive
When we say the lineup for HelloWorld is impressive, we mean it. Guests are still being confirmed, but those announced thus far include Zoe Sugg, Niki and Sammy Albon, Olajide ‘KSI’ Olatunji, Lewys Ball, Lucy and Lydia Connell, Caspar Lee, Jana Damanhouri, Tyler Oakley, Katie Pix, Joe Sugg, Oli White, Jim Chapman, Mark Ferris, Jack Maynard, Josh Pieters, Rose Dix and Rosie Spaughton, Louise Pentland, Jake Mitchell, Marcus Butler, and Alfie Deyes!
We’re out of breath just listing them all!
2. You can meet your faves
Even though VIP tickets are sold out, attendees will still have the chance to meet creators whilst at HelloWorld. Be sure to keep a lookout while wandering down Main Street (more on that later) – you never know who you’ll run into!
3. Main Street
So what is Main Street? Well, since you asked…
Main Street is what will greet you upon entering Genting Arena. It’s where the majority of the event’s fun will be going down, and it’ll feature stalls, games, bake-offs, and so much more! Seriously, it’s a good thing HelloWorld spans two days – you’ll need all that time to explore!
4. FOMO
If you missed this year’s Summer in the City, then you’ll know how bad FOMO is. Well, don’t let it hit you with HelloWorld! If you’re in or near the Birmingham area, then make sure to get your butts down to Genting Arena and hangout! We promise it’ll be a weekend to remember.
Can’t make it? Don’t worry, the organisers will be live streaming all the fun and excitement.
5. The Arcade Stage
One of the coolest features of Main Street will definitely be the Arcade Stage. Attendees will not only be able to go head-to-head against their friends, but their favourite creators as well! The stage will also be host to a few nighttime events, so it’s safe to say it’ll definitely be on your list of places to check out.
6. Learning can be fun!
Ever wanted to give YouTube a try, but weren’t quite sure how to start? Well, prepare to learn how at HelloWorld! Many of our faves will be offering tips and tricks to help you get started, so be there or be square.
7. Most importantly, you can take everything in at your own pace
With so much going on, it’s important to remember to take everything at your own pace. The amount of attendees and activities might be a wee bit overwhelming at first, so make sure to take advantage of the many designated relaxation spots that’ll be placed throughout Main Street. Take a breather, chat with some friends, and regroup before heading back out to explore.
October can’t come fast enough!
To say we’re excited for HelloWorld would be a bit of an understatement. Interested in attending? Then do it! Tickets are currently available on the event’s website, with seated tickets set at £27.50 and roaming at £49.00. We can’t wait to see you all on 28 and 29 October!
