Fans React to #5YearsOfThatcherJoe

It’s a Sugg life, after all.

If you’re a fan of YouTube, then odds are you’ve run into Joe Sugg‘s channel once or twice. Known for his hilarious pranks and spot-on impressions, Joe’s made quite a name for himself over the years – five years, in fact.

Yep, that’s right. 7 August was the fifth anniversary of Joe’s YouTube channel, and to say his viewers were excited is a bit of an understatement. From congratulating him on all his success to sharing many an embarrassing screenshot, they took over Twitter with the hashtag #5YearsOfThatcherJoe.

Here’s what a few of them had to say.

So much pride

It’s good to see we aren’t the only ones overrun with pride over how far Joe’s come since 2012. We’re so glad that brief thought turned into the YouTube channel we know and love.

Like brother, like sister

There’s nothing better than sharing your passion with family, so we’re super stoked that Joe and Zoe Sugg get to experience YouTube together. From #SuggSunday to their hilarious collab videos, these two were made to be YouTube stars.

Some things never change

Even after all these years, Joe still can’t resist pulling a silly face in pretty much every video… What a dork.

Many thanks

Ash wasn’t the only one thanking Joe for all the laughs and smiles he’s provided us over the years. The Sugglet fandom were quick to share her sentiments!

His influence is massive

OMG, we totally just realised that, if Joe hadn’t started YouTube, we’d have never been witness to his and Caspar Lee‘s prank war! What would we have done without it?! *gasp*

Thank goodness we never have to live in that world.

We’re not going to lie, we might have shed a tear or two watching all the videos viewers made for Joe.

No, seriously, how has it already been five years?! It seems like only yesterday were were watching Joe do the Fast Food Challenge!

We’ll use any excuse to drink, tbh.

Happy five years, Joe!

And hears to many more! Considering how well the YouTube life has treated him over the past couple of years, we think it’s pretty safe to say we’ll be watching videos from our little Sugg for many more years to come.
