Bethan Leadley’s latest single has been released, and it comes with a name change.
Under the mononym “Leadley”, Bethan has released a new single, All of You. The track was co-written with Iain Mahanty, a London-based composer, producer, and songwriter.

We decided to ask Bethan about her biggest musical inspirations. “At this point in my life, it changes every week,” she explains. “My dad used to play Damien Rice’s O in the car all the time and I think that’s what made me really fall in love with songwriting to begin with. Recently, I’m so inspired by badass women in the pop industry like Lorde, Halsey, Melanie Martinez – how they strive to do something different, and they’re all so unique. Everything from their lyrics to production is sick. But equally, there are so many dudes in the industry that do the same for me – Chance the Rapper, Post Malone, The Weeknd, Bruno Mars… the list is endless.”
When asked about the most fun part of writing the single, Bethan says: “Probably the fact that it was so different to anything I’d ever done before. I remember writing it at like 3am – I was by myself and knew something was brewing. As soon the ‘all of you’ line came to my head it was like I could imagine the whole thing and I was like, ‘Okay, here we go’, and everything that’s happened since then from the artwork to the lyric video to the production was inspired from that picture in my head. It’s been so surreal watching it all come together.”
Bethan says that the lyrics to All of You came together easily. “The majority of the song happened really quickly. The first line I actually wrote of the song was ‘all of you’ – I wrote it about my now-boyfriend (who wasn’t my boyfriend at the time) and the words just poured out. I’m sure other songwriters will agree that it sometimes takes just sitting down and writing a song to find out how you really feel.”
Bethan has said that the name change accompanying the single has been a long time coming as she “felt it was time to create some distance” between who she was when she started her YouTube channel and who she is now.
All of You is available now on iTunes and Spotify as well as all other music apps. Promotional photography for Bethan’s rebrand was by Linda Blacker, while an upcoming music video for All of You has been directed and edited by Mandy Celine.
