It’s been yet another beautiful week here in London.
The sun’s been shining, the birds have been chirping, we’ve been sitting inside watching YouTube videos… Ahem, we… uh… we mean, we’ve been outside, enjoying our summer doing the things you’re supposed to do when the weather’s lovely.
Let’s be honest, while all of you have been out enjoying the gorgeous summer heat, we’ve been stuck in the office, watching videos, so that when you’re finally exhausted from all the outdoor fun, we have the best of last week ready for you. Without further ado, here’s this week’s Round-Up!
Nazi Bar | Jack & Dean
Released this past week is the latest sketch from the always-funny Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs. The duo are back, dealing with the state of the world in the only way they know how: through comedy. And if we’re honest, we think we could all use a laugh right about now.
Can you believe that special guest cameo?! And no, we’re not talking about Jacob Trueman – however, we always love seeing his darling face. And whilst the sketch was quite interesting to watch, there was only thing we just couldn’t tolerate: the fact that a can of Fanta cost £2.50! Does anyone honestly think that’s alright?!
Easy Vegan Pasta | Easy Student Recipe | The Happy Pear
Your favourite FoodTubers David and Stephen Flynn are back with this DELICIOUS pasta recipe! While we normally find ourselves drooling when watching the pair’s videos, we were almost clawing at the screen to get a bite of their latest creation. The best part is, it’s something ANYONE can eat and make, no matter their food habits.
We can almost smell the aroma through our computer screen. We can tell you, this is definitely going to be our next meal – who wants to come over for dinner?
Florence – Original Song | stuffbyJas
If it was filmed in June, Jas Ratchford, then we’ll count it as a June upload. Don’t worry.
In case you were unaware, Jas just released her newest track Florence, a.k.a. your new favourite song. Just one peek into the office and you’ll find us singing along on repeat. Does anyone know where we can find talent like this? Is there a specific aisle at Tesco, or do we find it in a cereal box? Honestly, we can’t wait till the July song is out!
Real Wedding: Paul & Katie | Bride De Force
Hannah and Fleur DeForce‘s collab channel Bride De Force is your one-stop shop for everything wedding-related: planning, fashion, floral arrangements… But most importantly, the pair showcase real-life weddings to give you the insight and inspiration when planning your own.
If you’re anything like us, you’ve probably been planning your dream wedding since you were little. And if that’s the case, get out your planning notebook and take notes from Katie and Paul’s gorgeous wedding as they bring you along on their big day!
Daniel Dobbs, C Major Scale and THE BOX | The Fratocrats
We highly recommend going to the bathroom before pressing play on this one because you may just pee yourself laughing.
Ever wonder how Daniel Dobbs would react if he witnessed the assassination of Abraham Lincoln? Seeing as that probably won’t appear on the next episode of YouTubers React, you’ll have to watch the latest episode of TwinJoke to find out. Daniel joins Jacob and Michael Trueman, and we couldn’t be happier! Not only that, but our fave segment is back. What a good day.
What else do we have for you? Well, since you asked…
June was Pride month and there were many wonderful LGBTQ+ related videos published. In fact, there were so many that we found it incredibly difficult to pick just one! But we managed to settle on Dodie Clark‘s collab with Skittles (as well as few more – keep on reading), where she borrowed the rainbow to sing a song about coming out.
If you’re looking for something a little different, we challenge you to try and not hyperventilate while watching Connie Glynn destroy ALL of her makeup. It’s more satisfying than you might think.
Pete Bucknall opened up about his sexuality for the first time online. You can hear him talk about his experiences in his latest video.
PAPER magazine and Google helped Troye Sivan tell the story of his first Pride parade and, just a warning, it’ll melt your heart.
