Musician Dodie Clark will release her first memoir in November.
Dodie Clark has announced in a video that her first book will be published by Ebury towards the end of the year.
Secrets for the Mad: Obsessions, Confessions and Life Lessons is set to be released in the UK and the rest of the world on November 2, and in the USA on November 7. The book has been described as an illustrated memoir about “growing up, mental health, and life lessons”.
In her video, Dodie explained that the book will talk about her brain, how it works, and how she sees the world. “It’s quite vulnerable, it gets very personal,” she disclosed. “There’s a lot that you can’t say in video and online, and writing a book about it was just so therapeutic.”
Less than 12 hours after the announcement, Secrets for the Mad managed to reach Number 20 in Amazon’s bestselling book chart and, Number One in their preorder chart.
Fans can preorder Secrets for the Mad: Obsessions, Confessions and Life Lessons on Amazon UK now, with options for other countries available in the above video’s description.
