Grace F. Victory teamed up with website betty.me to celebrate female friendships on 9 February.
Grace recently hosted a sleepover at a top London hotel for Galentine’s Day, bringing along her friends Danielle Vanier, Lizzie Loves, sophdoesnails, and Emmas Rectangle.
Galentine’s Day, which originated in an episode of the TV series Parks and Recreation, is described as a “modern twist” on the traditional Valentine’s Day, celebrating friendship and encouraging support between women. This concept is a key message behind betty.me‘s brand as they aim to “smash the stigma” of discussing periods and educate young women on their bodies while helping them gain confidence in the process.
As the internet’s self-styled “big sister”, the cause is one that Grace strongly believes in due to her involvement with the body positivity movement and belief in female empowerment.
“Nothing makes me feel better than surrounding myself with good energy, good people, and a safe environment,” Grace said. “I invited all my best friends to be pampered and celebrate the close bonds we share. That’s what Galentine’s Day is all about, after all!”
