Now that our fave creators are well-connected, celeb collabs are much easier to come by and are evolving into more than just mere interviews.
But what exactly do you need in order to create the perfect celebrity collab? Well, first of all, you need someone who is up for the craziest of challenges, like doing backflips on trampolines or playing a cheeky game of Would You Rather. Second, you need a person who is genuinely going to enjoy themselves – because what is a collab if the participants aren’t laughing it up?
Thankfully for us, our faves are a pretty fun group of people, which means that the content they create with Hollywood’s finest is some of the best YouTube has to offer. And whilst we’ve already published a Five of the Best: Celebrity Collaborations, we just couldn’t ignore the whole host of new collabs that appeared in our sub boxes over the past year.
So here they are, in all their Hollywood glory, Five MORE of the Best: Celebrity Collaborations!
‘Would You Rather’ with Daniel Radcliffe & James McAvoy – NikiNSammy
Launching our list are twins Niki and Sammy Albon, whose video proves that #NikiNSammyAtTheMovies is one of the greatest moments on their channel thus far. Harry Potter and X-Men alumni Daniel Radcliffe and James McAvoy (who both make us swoon) were fresh on their promo tour for the creepy Victor Frankenstein and ready to locate where exactly their moral compasses fell.
Be sure to watch for Daniel’s curly tongue in the title card for question three. We genuinely had to pause the video, just so we could be grossed out again, and then pause it once more. We’ve concluded that we’re weirdly fascinated by it. Don’t judge.
DIY Protein Balls With Tom Daley – TheLeanMachines
Can John Chapman and Leon Bustin of The Lean Machines introduce a weekly cooking segment on their channel? Pretty please with a healthy sugar alternative on top?
In this video, three attractive guys make some high protein balls with just a blender and five ingredients. They look super simple to make, so we get why John and Leon look so relaxed as hosts. However, we don’t get how they managed to stay so calm, what with being in the same room as Olympian and YouTuber Tom Daley!
And in case you simply couldn’t get enough of this collab, the pair also put together a shirtless home workout over on Tom’s channel. With a lot of abs and muscle in common, it’s no surprise that Tom fits right in with these two!
TEACHING JAMIE OLIVER TO BACKFLIP – FunForLouis
We honestly didn’t know seeing chef Jamie Oliver backflipping on a trampoline and being dragged from a foam pit was something we needed in our lives, but now that we have, there’s no going back.
That’s not the only collab featured in this video from Louis Cole. Also featuring fellow YouTubers Alfie Deyes and Steve Booker, it has some pretty fun camera angles that might just make you feel a bit dizzy. Watch as they perform flip after flip, then take on a high-intensity game of dodgeball. If this doesn’t make you want to go out and find a trampoline, we don’t know what will!
And don’t be alarmed by the various states of facial hair in the video. Movember was alive and well at the time of filming.
Tipsy Talk with Margot Robbie – ChewingSand
Did you ever think you’d see Hazel Hayes sharing a mimosa with Margot Robbie while she was on the promo tour for Suicide Squad? We didn’t either, but we sure are glad it happened!
Is is just us or does it seem as if Hazel and Margot have been besties for years? They’re just so comfortable in each other’s company! No awkward silences or glances at the camera, just a mutual love for Love Actually. And not one to shy away from digging for the important deets, Hazel also managed to get the lowdown from Margot about what it was like on the set of Suicide Squad, as well as some heartwarming info on her inspirational mother.
SINGING LESSONS w/ Justin Timberlake & Anna Kendrick – Caspar
Is Caspar Lee the King of Celebrity Collaborations? We’re starting to think so!
Featuring a triangle, Justin Timberlake nervously clutching a ukulele, and Anna Kendrick with her usual deadpan responses, the only thing truly missing from this video is Caspar’s vocal talent, which we’re sure he’s just misplaced under that table over there.
Instead of being witness to Caspar’s vocal genius, we’re treated to Anna and Justin establishing that sequential use of a harmonica isn’t the same as consensual kissing. As well, the two pass on a message to Joe Sugg about just how quickly they’ve become best buds with Caspar… However, it looks like Justin might disagree with that.
Anybody else feel like they need more singing lessons?
So there you have it…
Five More of the Best: Celebrity Collaborations! It’s okay if you’re currently feeling a bit jealous right now – we know we sure are! Gosh, the lives YouTubers lead these days.
