Oli White will be releasing his second book, Generation Next: The Takeover, on 6 April.
The sequel to Oli‘s first book, Generation Next, has been announced in a skit-style video uploaded to his channel.
Titled Generation Next: The Takeover, the novel will be on the theme of maintaining relationships whilst under the pressure of social media stardom.
“This book is the sequel to Generation Next, and it features the same characters,” Oli explained. “This time, they just finished school, and they’re just about to do a huge stage takeover at the world’s largest music festival. What could possibly go wrong?”
Like Oli’s previous release, this second novel is co-written by Terry Ronald.
The first book received positive responses, with Nickelodeon UK saying in their review: “We loved this book… if you’ve ever wondered what it’s like to have YouTuber fame overnight, this book tells all.”
In the announcement video, Oli said: “If you guys read the first book, you will honestly love this one. It’s incredible, it’s just how I want it.”
Generation Next: The Takeover, published by Hodder & Stoughton, will be released on 6 April and is available for pre-order on Amazon.
