Louise Pentland, Tom Ridgewell, and Dodie Clark are among the creators nominated for the first British Online Creator Awards, which will take place on 22 November at the London Palladium.
The awards, which have been launched by Flipside, aim to “highlight the growing influence of the digital entertainment sector, recognising both its contribution to the creative industries and its impact on young audiences worldwide”.
Creators attending the event include Jack Howard and Dean Dobbs, Hazel Hayes, Bertie Gilbert, Chai Cameron, Niki and Sammy Albon, and many more. A full list of guests can be found on the BONCAs website.
There are 14 awards to be won, 11 of which will be decided by “a jury of industry professionals”.
The remaining three awards, British Creator of the Year, International Creator of the Year, and Collaboration of the Year, will be voted for by the general public. The deadline for online votes is midday on 18 November 2016. Winners will take home a Golden Hashtag award.
Mike Cook and Fleur Brooklin Smith, Heads of Talent at FlipSide, said: “The incredible impact and importance of native online entertainers is growing every year, and it is fantastic to have an event to acknowledge and celebrate this.
