Louise Pentland has announced that she is dropping the name Sprinkleofglitter, and will be creating more mature content on her channel.
In a video titled Finishing with Sprinkle Of Glitter, Louise shared her plan to rebrand her YouTube channel, a change that will allow her to discuss more mature topics.
“Something that I haven’t ever done is allow myself really to change on here,” she admitted in the video, “and I think that’s based on fear and based on success. I want to talk to you as a 31-year-old woman, which is what I am. I want to talk about topics that matter to me.”
Louise also published a blog post explaining why she has decided to make the change. Fellow YouTubers have been tweeting their support for Louise’s decision:

Louise’s announcement has been picked up by mainstream media channels such as BBC Newsbeat and The Sun, with headlines stating that the YouTuber is quitting her channel.
Louise has been making videos as Sprinkleofglitter for over six years, and currently has over 2.5 million subscribers.
