Tanya Burr and Tom Ridgewell have claimed spots on Radio Times‘s “Teenage Britain’s Top Stars” list, appearing alongside the likes of Emma Watson and Barack Obama.
In total, YouTube creators made up 49% of the stars listed, with 25 vloggers and filmmakers landing spots.
Highest-placed was Tom Ridgewell at 14, just below Sherlock actor Benedict Cumberbatch. Radio Times described Tom as “YouTube’s biggest breakout star this year”.
Anna and Jonathan Saccone-Joly, referred to as “the internet’s most popular family”, came in at 15. The pair were also named this year’s Radio Times TV Champions.
Tanya Burr precedes Ed Sheeran at 16, with Canadian vlogger Lily Singh and the Slow Mo Guys (Gavin Free and Dan Gruchy) rounding out the Top 20 at 18 and 19.
Louise Pentland beat Beyoncé to her place at 24, and Zoe Sugg placed 36, between Marcus Butler and Dan Howell.
