Summer in the City is in our sights…
It’s almost time for the annual UK YouTube extravaganza (not the official description) commonly known as SitC! We’re super duper excited (can you tell) and are finding it very difficult to concentrate on anything else right now. But we’ll try. Here are some videos to help take your (and our) mind off of the CRIPPLING EXCITEMENT. We can barely contain it.
WILL DAN AND PHIL SURVIVE AUSTRALIA? – AmazingPhil
If you didn’t already know, Dan and Phil are about to go on tour in Australia. Strewth! (Sorry, we’ll never do that again.)
In this video, the troublesome twosome look at how they might cope down under. We particularly like the costumes (complete with Dan’s very own joey) and their reactions to some of the bugs and beasts that roam around in ‘stralia. The only downside is that TATINOF does mean there will be a Phan-shaped whole at SitC. How will we cope? Not well, that’s how.
HOW MUCH MONEY DO BUSKERS MAKE?! – Morgan M-James
Want to do some learning? WAIT, DON’T CLICK AWAY. This is interesting stuff.
Morgan M-James is back to fill us in on everything we didn’t know about busking. Who knew you could spot so many celebrities while singing on the street in Brighton? We’re sat here watching YouTube videos while Morgan is out there giving the likes of Alfie Deyes a live performance! If only we had any talent, eh?
The only thing more impressive than his busking abilities is the amount of stuff Morgan has in his background. It’s basically sending our OCD into a meltdown – but we’ll forgive him for it. He’s got a great voice and a cheeky smile to go with it, what’s not to like?
6 Awesome BBQ Hacks! – SORTEDfood
Don’t shove the sun cream to the back of your cupboard just yet, kids. Apparently there’s a heatwave on the way! Luckily, the boys from SORTEDfood are here with some actually quite useful hacks for a classic Summer barbecue. Let’s just gloss over the fact they make their own burger patties because we’ve literally never seen anyone do that before and we are not worthy.
Who knew you could clean your BBQ grill with half an onion? Or that spiral hotdogs were a thing that existed? Boys – you need to make more of these food hack videos, we’ve got our spatulas at the ready.
Moving Out – Jake Dudman
Moving out is pretty emotionally exhausting. Especially when you’re moving from the countryside to London and are facing the possibility of living under Westminster Bridge, as Jake Dudman knows all too well. In this video, Jake shares his experience of quitting his part-time job and the feeling of being at the start of another chapter in his life.
Without meaning to sound like one of those clickbait Facebook videos, make sure you watch this video all the way to the end because that closing montage… woah… wild Feelings appeared, used Choke Up, and it was super effective.

Walt Disney World Vlog – Summer 2016 (Part One) – Gary C
You might want to sit down and get a cuppa for this one. We did – right after we put on our Finding Nemo Magic Band and donned our Minnie Mouse ears. Not even joking.
In this MEGA vlog (we’re talking a full 60 minutes here – get that watch time) we’re treated to four days of Disney Summer magic by Gary C and Adam Hattan. They even flew out on a plane literally called Tinker Belle. It couldn’t be more perfect. But in case that wasn’t enough for you, Adam vlogged the whole thing too.
