YouTube has expanded its creator benefits and is rolling out a tiered system of perks.
This new system supports YouTube creators with channels ranging from no subscribers to over a million.
The new perks offer support and skills to help people to create high quality content and gain subscribers. They range from open day events at a YouTube Space, to hosting your own event.
With each tier, a channel is given a different set of perks which comes under a different category name. The categories are as follows:
Graphite – up to 1000 subscribers
Opal – 1000+ subscribers
Bronze – 10,000+ subscribers
Silver – 100,000+ subscribers
Gold – 1,000,000+ subscribers
As a channel grows, it unlocks more perks, from the Graphite channels gaining access to the online creator academy, through to the Gold channels that are able to access every perk on the list.
More information about all of these perks is available at the YouTube Creator Hub.
