Back down the rabbit hole we go…
Wow, it’s been a big week for YouTube events! Not only did a ton of our faves attend the opening of Privet Drive at the Harry Potter Studio, but loads more attended the European premiere of Alice Through The Looking Glass.
Everyone was there, including – rumour has it – the Cheshire Cat, walking the blue carpet and mingling with the likes of Johnny Depp and Mia Wasikowska. Also, wait until you see how crazy the carpet was! It’s as if London had been transformed into Wonderland! Seriously, YouTubers really do live the life.
Keep on reading to learn more about their adventures. But be warned: once down the rabbit hole, there’s no telling who (or what) you’ll encounter.

I had to turn down the Alice premiere because I'd already accepted an invite to get drunk at Hogwarts.
I hate me too.

We’re so glad our lives aren’t as hard as Daniel J. Layton‘s, who had to choose between the premiere and the Privet Drive opening. Honestly, we have no idea how he managed to pick one!
But don’t worry, we don’t hate you, Dan. We’re far too mature for such petty things.

#SquadGoals
We are HERE! #Throughthelookingglass pic.twitter.com/HLV0t0Nb5c
— Trent Owers (@trentowers) May 10, 2016
Who would have though that Trent Owers, Grace and Amelia Mandeville, Bethan Leadley, and Elle Meadows would make the ultimate #SquadGoals? Everyone, of course! Just look how cool they all are. They’re… wait for it… too cool for school.
We’re sorry, we’ll leave.
Disney fans in Wonderland
It’s safe to say that Tom Burns and Jamie Jo are some of the most hardcore Disney fans you’ll ever meet. We mean, have you seen their house?! So, obviously, they’d have to make an appearance at one of the company’s most anticipated movies of the year! The adorable couple stole the show, and we wish we were as cute as them.

Let’s be honest, everyone who attended the premiere looked fab, including the lovely Connie Glynn. Hopefully she can offer us a few fashion tips, as we’re looking pretty drab in comparison.
BFFLs
What do you do when your girlfriend is currently touring in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang and unable to attend the premiere with you? You bring your best friend, of course! Pete Bucknall and his friend John attended the premiere in style and took a selfie to show just how much fun they were having!
While we have to admit, Pete and John do look like they’re having a blast, the real show-stealer of the night has to be the super happy woman behind the two. Oh, how we love unintentional photobombs.
Just act normal…
We totally get what Fawn Mead and Liam Dryden mean about trying to keep your inner fangirl at bay. We once met Alfie Deyes and trust us, it was near impossible not to squeal!
Totes Legit
Pretending to be legit at the #ThroughTheLookingGlass premiere! No ones convinced. Look at that awks smile ✌🏻️ pic.twitter.com/FDPWKVC0PQ
— Bethan Leadley (@musicalbethan) May 10, 2016
Bethan, what do you mean no one’s convinced? You could have totally fooled us! Go on with your legit self!
Fangirl Moment
I just shared the same air as Johnny Depp #ThroughTheLookingGlass
— Grace Mandeville★ (@GraceMandeville) May 10, 2016
We have to apologise to Grace! We should have told her that being within breathing distance of Johnny Depp would induce intense fangirling, complete with infinite heart-eye emojis, internal screaming and an inability to even.
MILD PERIL
gonna level with you, I didn't like the first Alice film, but Through the Looking Glass was good last night! fun, visually cool, MILD PERIL.
— Hex Croucher ✨💀 (@lexcanroar) May 11, 2016
Firstly, someone needs to inform Lex Croucher that the first Alice film is one of the best films of all time (sorry, it would have been wrong for us to not use a Kanye West reference). Second, it’s good to know that we only have to sit through mild peril. Anything more and we don’t think we could handle it.
In summary…
Mad Hatter: “Have I gone mad?”
Alice: “I’m afraid so. You’re entirely bonkers. But I’ll tell you a secret. All the best people are.”
Welcome back!
